Words & Photo - Matthew Curtis
Beer writing's most gracious bard, Adrian Tierney-Jones, has put together a tidy little volume of what he considers to be some of the best beer writing around. It features some of my favourite writers, both beer and non-beer and is an ideal way to enjoy bite sized pieces of beer related prose while settled with a nice pint of bitter in your favourite pub.
Adrian has even done me the honour of putting a short piece of my own in there. It sits like an awkward adolescent in between wonderful pieces of work from Hilaire Belloc and George Orwell, which for me feels very special.
It's available now from the usual outlets such as Waterstone's here. Although my advice would be to buy it from your local independent bookseller if you can.
